In 1949, he moved to Bellaire, TX, where he worked with the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Houston, and later with the Houston Chamber of Commerce. In Dec 1959, he took a position as Executive Vice President of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Lincoln, Nebraska.
