"The many friends of Joe Gary of Greenwood will be pleased to learn that he has almost entirely recovered from the operation for a tumor under the left ear, which he recently underwent at Mercy Hospital Baltimore. Joe is now able to go about very nicely, and was down at the Fair last Thursday."

"Joe Gary and Ottis Doak of Greenwood were here Monday to get Mr. Doak's new Ford touring car; but owing to the condition of the roads, they decided not to take "Henry" out for a few days yet."

"R. C. Hudkins, C. O. Dotson, J. E. Gary and F. W. Waldo, of Greenwood, were registered at the Columbian Friday. They were here attending the funeral of Arthur Ingle."
