Notes for: William J. Maulsby

It is only speculative that we report William J. Maulsby as a son of Elizabeth Ogden Maulsby. We have found no record of his birth, and no record that identifies his parents. He was born three years after the death of Elizabeth's husband Lawson Maulsby, and could also be a son of one of Elizabeth's two older daughters. But it was with Elizabeth that he appeared in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 censuses. We have been unable to locate either of them in the 1880 Census, the first census that states the relationships of household members.
