Notes for: Harry Monroe Smith

Harry Monroe Smith's great-grandfather, John Henry Smith (Joseph Henry Schmidt), came to Doddridge County with the Diss Debar emigrants and built his cabin on Big Cove Creek in 1853, the same year that Amy Gaston Smith's grandfather, John Smith Gaston, built his cabin on Camp Run, near Summers, in Doddridge County.
