Notes for: Russell Lee Davisson

Graduate of Salem College in 1944 with a B.S. degree in chemistry, and of West Virginia University in 1948 with an M.S. degree in physical chemistry. Served in U.S. Navy in the Atlantic and Pacific theaters in antisubmarine warfare during World War II. Served as Vice-Mayor and City Councilman at St. Albans, Kanawha Co, WV, and was a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates from 1966-1970. Retired after 37 years of employment with Union Carbide Corporation, South Charleston, WV. Owner of Davisson Corrosion Control Associates. A life member of the Harrison County Genealogy Society. Author of the book "The Davissons - A History and Genealogy," 1993, McClain Printing Co, Parsons, WV.
