William M. Hart, 58, b. WV, father b. Maryland, mother b. WV, occupation coal miner, married 20 yrs (second marriage); wife Eliza V, 61, b. Virginia, both parents b. Virginia, married 20 yrs (second marriage), mother of 8 children, 7 still living; son George W, 18; dau Florence V, 17; son John T, 15.
This Census information indicates that William and Eliza began their relationship and family well before their January 1901 marriage, which presumably was delayed because William was not yet divorced from his second wife.
