Notes for: John Nutter

"John Nutter, with his brothers Isaac, Levi, Thomas and William, came to Ritchie County VA (WV) about 1813 and squatted near the mouth of Addis Run on land owned by a Mr. Addis. This land was sold to William McKinley, who dispossessed the Nutters in 1818. John and Mary then moved to the West Fork of the Little Kanawha River in present day Calhoun County WV."
