Notes for: James Porter Kinney

From his obituary, written in the style of a news item and appearing in the "Doddridge County Republican," Thursday, Dec 17 1914:
"It will be remembered by many that the deceased was formerly a B. & O. trainman, and that his career as such ended in a terrible wreck on the Seventeen mile grade some years ago when he lost control of a heavy train on the mountain."
