Notes for: Lemuel E. Brown

Doddridge Commissioners Record, Volume I, Page 4, entry dated Wednesday, April 6, 1864:
"Resolved that Lemuel E. Brown be and he is hereby appointed a Commissioner to examine the Courthouse of this county and list what repairs are necessary to be done thereon, and the probable costs to provide material, and whether the same can be obtained from any persons, who is willing to wait for the pay, until the first February 1865; and that he report to the next meeting of this Court."
