BODY OF MRS. J. H. DAVIS IS RETURNED TO HER HOME
MEMBER OF PROMINENT CLARKSBURG FAMILY APPARENTLY LEAPT IN FRONT OF TRAIN
Clarksburg, W.Va., Feb. 19 (AP) - The body of Mrs. J. Horner Davis 2nd, 35-year-old member of a prominent Clarksburg family, who was killed by a train near Stockbridge, Mass., was returned to the home of her mother, Mrs. W. Brent Maxwell, where funeral services will be held tomorrow.
She apparently jumped in front of the train yesterday after skating near the Riggs Foundation, a private hospital, where she had been under treatment for a nervous disorder, reported Dr. George S. Wickham of Lee, Mass., medical examiner.
Mrs. Davis was the wife of Charleston attorney, who has served in the House of Delegates and was the Democratic nominee for Mayor of Charleston four years ago.
