News item under the heading "County Court Proceedings" in the "West Union Herald," Thursday, August 5 1915, in part:
"A regular session of the County Court was held in the Court House commencing July 19, present M. O. Young, B. F. Greathouse and P. M. Williams, Commissioners. ... License to keep hotel: Andrew Helmick at Center Point, L. G. Chapman at Grove, C. C. Wentz at Smithton, J. W. Keister and G. W. Gray in the New Columbia Hotel, West Union."
