Notes for: Blanche M. Edgell

Mrs. Blanche M. Day, 95, of Wolf Summit Community, passed away at 2:00 P. M.
Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Meadowview Manor Health Care Center,
Bridgeport, WV, where she had been a resident for the past year.

She was born at Wallace, WV, March 26, 1918, a daughter of the late Asa L. Edgell
and Sarah Catherine Holt Edgell. She was married June 18, 1938 to Jesse C. Day,
who preceded her in death September 28, 1975.

Mrs. Day is survived by: her twin daughters & a son-in-law, Mrs. Martha Lee
Dennison, Wolf Summit, WV and Mrs. Arlis (Mary Lou) Webb, Quiet Dell, WV,
six grandchildren; David F. Dennison, Harvey, LA, Douglas K. Dennison, Horn
Lake, MS, Michael L. (Heather) Dennison, Dayton, OH, Mrs. Ronald (Terri) Boyer,
Stonewood, WV, Steven A. Webb, Quiet Dell, WV & Mrs. Steven (Lisa) Ables,
Stonewood, WV, twelve great-grandchildren; Craig (Adrienne) Boyer, Stonewood,
WV, Mrs. Larry (Amanda) Linton, Martinsburg, WV, Amber M. Scott, Bridgeport,
WV, Allen & Adam Starr, Nutter Fort, WV, Austin & Mercedes Ables, Stonewood,
WV, Rebekah Ellis, Jesse Dennison, Emalee Dennison, Kathleen Dennison all of
Houston, TX & Leelyn & Gracie Dennison, Dayton, OH, her six great great-grand-
children; Jordan Welsh, Lexi & Tanner Boyer all of Stonewood, WV, Logan
& Natalie Linton, Martinsburg, WV and Magdalena Parsons, Bridgeport, WV,
a sister-in-law, Mabel Edgell, Liberty Addition, Clarksburg, WV & several nieces
and nephews.

Mrs. Day was also preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by three brothers,
Fred, Clyde & Troy Edgell and her sister, Mrs. Margery Strother.

Mrs. Day was a member and past secretary of the Harrison County Genealogical
Society. She was also a member of the local Rose Rebekah Lodge and the Wolf
Summit Homemakers Club and attended the Wolf Summit Wesleyan Methodist
Church.

Family & friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main
Street, Clarksburg, WV, from 3:00 – 8:00 P. M. on Sunday, where a funeral
service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 11:00 A. M. with the Reverend
Dan Cope presiding. Interment will follow in the Marshville Baptist Church
Cemetery.
