NOTE: Jamess E. Chipps was a son of David S. & Catharaine (Russell) Chipps. In the 1900 Census, James Chipps was found in Boise County, Idaho. A boarder in the household was Joseph A. Strickling, brother-in-law of Emily (Emma in this census) Ripley.
