Local news item, "West Union Herald," Thursday, May 11 1916, in its entirety:
"Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Kreyenbuhl of Leopold were called to Cumberland, Md., last week to attend the funeral of the latter's brother, Michael Reig (sic), who died of blood poison caused by a small scratch of one of his hands after a week's illness. He was 76 years of age."
