Slave owner: Richard Hickman. Description of slave: Black female, age 17.
1860 Census, Doddridge Co, Virginia (now West Virginia), West Union Post Office, enumerated on Jul 12 1860:

(NOTE: It would appear that the daughter "J." is actually "I." for Indiana, as shown in the 1870 Census, although the age is at variance with what was in her marriage record. She was not in the 1850 Census.)
