NOTE: We have found no other record of son P. B. Hansford, who was not present for the 1870 Census. Coincidentally, the next enumerated household in the 1880 Census and the entry on the next line of the census form was that of P. B. (Peter B.) Haught.
1900 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (West Union District), enumerated on Jun 11 1900:
Sarah A. Hansford, 71, b. Mar 1829 in Pennsylvania, widowed, mother of 5 children (3 still living); dau Laura, 40, b. Jun 1860, single.
