Annie McCloy, 48, b. Ohio (both parents b. Ohio), widowed, mother of 8 children (7 still living); son Dennis, 19, single, coal miner; son Willie, 17, coal miner; dau Emma, 15; son Earlly, 13; son Ira, 10.
The next enumerated household was that of Annie's son John and his family.
NOTE: It is likely that Annie's marital status was separated rather than widowed. Doddridge County marriage records show that she married Edmond Dallas Lipscomb on Nov 21 1909. In this census, he was listed as Dallas Lipscomb, 30, common laborer, married 6 months (1st marriage), a boarder in the household of Leroy & Ethel Ritchards (sic).
