It is believed that the location of David M. Haught's farm near Oxford was on Arnolds Creek Road just off of Oxford Road, at approximately GPS coordinates 39.221283, -80.835573. In a deed dated 9 July 1912, widower David M. Haught conveyed the property to his children in consideration of the sume of $2,370.88. The property was described as being "situate on Fred's Run, a branch of South Fork of Hughes River, in South West District, Doddridge County, West Virginia..."
