1900 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (Grant District), enumerated on Jun 7 1900:
John E. Kinney, 59, b. Jul 1840 (corrected from 1841) in Ohio, farmer, married 28 yrs; wife Susanah, 62, b. Jan 1838 in W.Va, married 28 yrs, mother of 4 children (all still living); dau Mary J, 37, b. Aug 1862, single; dau Alice V, 27, b. Dec 1872, single; dau Ida M, 22, b. Jul 1877, single; dau Anna A, 18, b. Jul 1881, single.

1910 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (Grant District), enumerated on May 5 1910:
John E. Kinney, 68, b. Ohio, farmer, married 38 yrs (2nd marriage); wife Susana, 72, b. WVa, married 38 yrs (2nd marriage), mother of 6 children (all still living); dau Mary J, 48, single; dau Alice V, 36, single; dau Ida M, 25, single; dau Anna A, 21, single.
(Note: It appears that daughters Ida and Anna wanted to appear younger than they were, as their stated ages were only 3 years older than in the prior census. Two years later in her marriage record, Anna's age was given as 25. Her birth record shows that her actual birth date was Jul 1 1881.)
