1870 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (Southwest Twp), enumerated on Sep 2 1870:

Williams 46, farmer, value of real estate $1,830, value of personal estate $450; Hariet A, 42, weaver & keeping house; Marcellus C, 20, common laborer, value of personal estate $100; Hellen V, 17; Bertha A, 15; Franklin P, 13; Wm M, 11; Ruben K, 9; Stuart L, 4; Abraham, 38, occupation "at home," cannot read/write, denied right to vote, handwritten notation states "deaf, dumb & idiot."
Records of the Doddridge County court, now on file at the West Virginia State Archives, show that on April 13, 1874, Samuel M. Williiams was given $43.60 for the support of Abraham Williams, a pauper.
In the 1880 Census, Abraham was one of several paupers enumerated at the County Poor Farm in Grant District, Doddridge County.
