(NOTE: Basis for Levi Ash's widowed status is not clear, as his wife's death is reported to have been in August 1910, after the date of this enumeration.

1920 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (McClellan District), enumerated on Jan 16 1920:
Damon Ash, 33, laborer for oil company; wife Sarah, 28; dau Rosa P, 11; son Riley, 9; dau Ethel, 6; dau Alma, 4 yr 0 mo; son Blane, 1 yr 10 mo.

1930 Census, Wetzel Co, WV (Grant District), enumerated on Apr 11 1930:
Damon Ash, 44, farm laborer, age 22 at time of first marriage; wife Sarah, 40, age 18 at first marriage; son Riley, 18; son Blaine, 12; son Warner, 10; dau Minnie, 6; dau Pearl Davis, 21, married, age 18 at first marriage, "Lives with Davis family."
