The 1900 Census of Calhoun County listed as the head of household Absalom Husk, farmer, age 50, born Jun 1849 in Pennsylvania, married 25 years, father born in West Virginia, mother born in Pennsylvania. In the same household was his wife Elizabeth, age 52, born Apr 1848 in West Virginia, mother of 7 children of which all were still living, both parents born in West Virginia.
