Local news item, "Doddridge County Republican," Thursday, Jan 18 1917, in its entirety:
"Boyd Maxwell has sold his property in the Duckworth Addition to Harry Prim of Cabin Run. Mr. Prim will move here the first of March, he having accepted a position with the Star Furniture Co"

The home of Boyd & Love Maxwell burned down on March 5, 1946. They lost everything.
