      Harrison County marriage records contain two entries for this couple. The first one, at Page 58, shows that they applied for a marriage license on Dec 1 1943, but that the license was not issued and no ceremony was reported. Parental consent was given by Hamilton Taylor in writing and by Laura Alice Taylor in person. The second, at Page 190, shows that they applied for a license on Jun 11 1947, that parental consent was given by Mr & Mrs Hamilton G. Taylor in writing, that the license was issued on Jun 13 1947, and that the ceremony was performed at Bristol, WV on Jun 14 1947 by H. R. Mahon, a minister of the Methodist Church.
