      W. Fleet Cottrill, 33, b. Feb 1867, teamster, married 14 yrs; wife Ida B, 34, b. Mar 1866, married 14 yrs, mother of 5 children (3 still living); dau Ella G, 13, b. May 1887; son George, 10, b. Dec 1889; son Calvin J, 2, b. Jul 1897; son Calder, 2, b. Jul 1897.
      The next enumerated household was that of Lloyd & Delila (Bennett) Cottrill. Another nearby household was that of Felix Wirt & Susan (Cottrill) Cottrill.
      NOTE: Basis for inclusion of daughter Ella in this census is not clear. Birth records show that she was born on May 12 1887, as reflected above, and death records show that she died in on Feb 1 1891. Based on the fact that the mother's entry shows only three living children, then lists four, it would appear that Ella's inclusion was the result of a misunderstanding between the enumerator and the household member providing the information.

      NOTE: The next enumerated household was that of Lloyd Cottrill, 32, widowed, and his three children.

      1920 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (West Union District), enumerated on Jan 5 1920 on the Northwestern Pike:
      W. L. (sic) Cottrill, 52, teamster driver; wife Ida, 53; son Melvin, 23, single, teamster driver; dau Thelma, 17, single, servant for private family; dau Artie, 11, feeble-minded.
      NOTE: Nearby households included those of Lloyd Cottrill, 62, widowed, and his two sons, and George Cottrill, 30, and his family.

      Wilbert Fleetwood Cottrill married Lottie Murphy in 1929. He was single, she was divorced.
