Identified as Moses W. Smith Sr., 73, b. Barbour Co, res. Doddridge Co; and Mrs. Annie Lipscomb, age 32, b. (blank), res. Doddridge Co. Married Apr 24 1918 "at County Farm," officiated by Charles P. Reinhard, a Christian Minister.
(NOTE: There is no mention of this marriage in husband's obituary. In the 1920 Census at the Doddridge County Infirmary (poor farm), the wife was listed as an "inmate," identified as Anna M. Lipscomb, 33, widowed, along with several of her children. So it seems likely that this couple were soon divorced or the marriage annulled. She remarried in 1921.)
