    • Obituary of daughter Irene Edith Nicholson Cox stated that she "was born Dec 16 1919 in Doddridge County, a daughter of the late Ambrose Nicholson and Sarah Frances Cox Nicholson." Ambrose Nicholson was actually her grandfather.
