Calhoun Co, dau of Wm. & Mary Legett [sic]. Married Aug 24 1920 by G. W. Cunningham, a Minister of the Gospel, at residence of A. N. Wilson. Basis for her parents being identified as William & Mary, rather than Elmore Leggett & Susan L. Seders as established elsewhere, in not known. There is also a marriage record for Myrtle Leggett in Doddridge County, identiying the groom as Sherman Bee, 18, of Doddridge Co, and Myrtle Leggett, 16, of Doddridge Co. The entry appears chronologically between other records of Mar 5 1911 and Mar 13 1911, but has no marriage date itself. Instead, there is a notation stating "returned unexecuted."
