Harrison Co, res. Doddridge Co, son of William Lipscomb; and Elizabeth Reed, widowed, 17, b. Harrison Co, res. Doddridge Co, dau of William Adams; married Jun 18 1855 in Doddridge County. (Note: It is likely that the first entry is for a marriage bond or the issuance of the license, while the second entry is for the marriage itself. Wife's age given in the second entry is presumably a clerical error, as is identification of husband's father as William rather than John.)
