      Local news item, "Doddridge County Republican," Thursday, Nov 18 1915, in its entirety:
      "On last Tuesday, death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Ball on Morgans Run and claimed their two-weeks-old infant child. The funeral services were conducted Wednesday."
      (NOTE: Doddridge County death records show an unnamed Ball, a "farmer's child" whose gender and parents were not given, age 6 days, who died at Morgansville of "infantile ailments" on Nov 10 1915. That date was a Wednesday. In this case, it appears that the more specific newspaper account is in error. The child's headstone, which shows his name as Victor Ball, is in agreement with the death record, shows his birth date Nov 3 1915, and his death date Nov 10 1915.)
