Death 9 May 1861 - The headstone at Cedar Grove Cemetery for Margaret R. Langfitt, daughter of S. & A. Langfitt, indicates that she died on 9 May 1859, age 2y 7m 13d. But that death date cannot be correct, since she appeared (as daughter M. R. Langfitt) in the 1860 Census, age 4, enumeration date 2 Jun 1860. Since the May had had alredy passed at the time of the census, the most likely death date would be the following year.. The age at death calculates to a birth date of 26 Sep 1858, which also is inconsistent with the census entry.
