- In 1957 Robert Lee "Bob" Crites went to work for Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, where he spent the next 35 years as a Sales Counselor and then the Sales Director. In 1984 he became a co-owner and operator of Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa. In 1993 he was instrumental in building the "Veterans Memorial Feature" at Green Hill, and in 1995 he co-founded Green Hill Funeral Home. He co-owned and operated the two companies until his retirement in 1997. He had been very active in cemetery and funeral home organizations, having been on the Board of Directors of the International Cemetery and Funeral Home Association and holding office as the President of the Oklahoma Cemetery Association.
