      Identified as thomas H. Bowman, 40, of Harrison Co, son of Jacob & Sarah; and Emaline M. Vincent, divorced, 39, of Harrison Co, dau of Aaron & Ary. Age 39 would put her birth in about 1838 or 1839, a significant variance from the 1847 reported in her first marriage record and the 1850 Census. Examination of the original Harrison County marriage index reveals that the entry for her age does indicate 39, but that it appears to have originally been written as 30, then later altered to read 39. Spelling of her name in the original document was Emolin.
