Nancy, Andrew and Josiah all died in 1856, with Nancy known to have died of typhoid; her brothers are suspected to have suffered the same fate. [4]

      Inscription does not give a birthdate, but reads that he died on Sep 2 1868 "In His 75 Year of his Age." This would put his birth in about 1793.

      A marriage bond was executed on Feb 11 1822 between Joseph Taylor and John Gaston for the marriage of Joseph Taylor and Deborah Gaston. Although there is no indication as to when the wedding ceremony took place, the Feb 11 1822 date is used here for that purpose.
