      Identified as George Ringer, widowed, 45, b. Preston Co, res. Harrison Co, son of Lewis & Catharine Ringer, occupation farmer; and Hannah Morris, widowed, 30, b. & res. in Harrison Co, dau of Robert & Rebecca Miller. Married Sep 27 1877 in Harrison County.
      NOTE: Despite her purported widowed marital status here, it appears that Hannah Miller Morris' previous marriage ended in divorce or annulment, especially considering her use of her prior married name in this, her third marriage. Her second husband, Truman E. Cunningham, in known from census and other records to have moved west before 1880 and to have died in 1903.
