He appears to have captured twice, the first time being in Doddridge County when he was still a Confederate recruit. Disposition: Sent to Camp Chase POW camp in Ohio. The second time that he was captured, he was identified as William Snider, Corpl, Co G, 8th Virginia Cavalry. Disposition: "Took amnesty oath and sent north," released from Cumberland Md in March 1865.
