- She held a variety of positions in the business field, lastly employed by Tetrick and Bartlett, Certified Public Accountants, as a general office worker.
Ruth was a member of the Marshville Baptist Church where she served as a Trustee and a Sunday School Secretary. She was also active in the Judson Baptist Association. She was a member and former leader of the local Marshville 4-H Club. She also served as President of the Harrison County Senior Citizens Association for many years.
Ruth was a talented wood carver who exhibited and sold her carvings throughout the local area. She was a dedicated member of the Zane Grey Society and attended their national meetings when possible. Ruth was also a collector of novels by Zane Grey and others of that style. She and her brother, F.W. (Bud) Randolph, spent many weekends over the years compiling genealogical records of the Randolph family. Ruth was well known in the area for her hats and her witty sense of humor.
