    • Birth date incorrectly given in death record as 8 May 1869, but his age is correctly given as 70. The 1900 Census also incorrectly indicates his birth date as April 1879. But both of his draft registrations state his birth date as May 8 1879, consistent with all census enumerations. Except for the 1880 Census and his draft registrations, which identified his as Edmond or a close variation, he was almost exclusively known by his middle name Lee. His death record indicates his first name as Edwin, also found in daughter Lona's birth record..
