Otis and Olivia/Gertrude divorced soon after this census. Both remarried in 1913, Gertrude to Owen Boster who was boarding with the family in 1910.

Owen Boster and Gertrude divorced sometime before the 1930 Census. In the 1930, 1940 and 1950 censuses, she was listed as head of household Gertrude Boster, divorced. She continued to operate a boarding house.
