- Location of death and residence was the Franklin County Home, 1671 Alum Creek Drive, in Marion Township, now defunct and part of Columbus.
The first "Poor House" in Franklin County, Ohio, was established in 1833 on a farm three miles above Columbus, near the confluence of the Scioto and Olentangy Rivers. This initial facility was later moved due to accessibility issues, particularly during high water, to a location on the west side of King Avenue, and then eventually to a larger site on Alum Creek Drive where a new infirmary was built in 1883. This new facility was later known as the Franklin County Infirmary and served various populations, including the elderly, mentally ill, and children, until it was razed in 1968.
