      Identified as Jefferson L. Siberts, b. Oct 9 1861 at Toms Fork, son of A. H. & Catharine Siberts. This is the only known instance of his middle initial being indicated as anything other than D. His death record incorrectly reports his birth as Oct 24 1861 in Gilmer County, where he lived the greater portion of his life.
