      "Mr. and Mrs. Clay J. Wilcox, two of Doddridge County's most successful teachers, have just returned to this city after a good year at Piedmont, where Mr. Wilcox was assistant principal and Mrs. Wilcox held a splendid position in the graded school."

      "Mr. and Mrs. Clay Wilcox, who have spent the summer in our city and vicinity, returned to Piedmont last Thursday, where Mr. Wilcox will resume his duties as principal of the grades in the Piedmont schools. He is a Doddridge County boy who is making good, and all are justly proud of him and wish him much success in his chosen profession."
