- Graduate of Doddridge High School with the class of 1943. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943 thru 1945, training as an Air Force pilot. Graduated from Graceland Junior College, Lamoni, IA, class of 1955. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, with a B.A. in Education. He was employed by the Oberlin, Ohio Board of Education for two years before joining Saga Corp in Pittsburgh from 1959 thru 1969. He was then transferred to Walnut Creek, CA, working for that company in the food service industry until 1984, when he retired from a position in Danville. He moved to Pine Grove, CA in 1985, residing there and in Pioneer, CA. [2]
