      Identified as Elisha Leeson, b. Jun 28 1865, son of Eli B. Leeson & Nancy [sic] Leeson. The mother's name was an apparent clerical error, as Nancy was the name of the father's mother. Elisha's marriage record in Sep 1900 gave his age as 28 (b. ca 1872), and his death record states his birth date as Jun 26 1868. But the 1870 Census of Doddridge County is consistent with his birth record, showing him as a four-year-old son in the household of Eli B. Leeson and Clarinda.
