    • Birthplace given in marriage record as Ritchie County, but in obituary as Doddridge County. Identified in marriage record as E. Gay Jett, in 1948 obituary of brother Mike as "Mrs. Lloyd Dotson of Clarksburg," in 1966 obituary of brother Grant as "Mrs. Gay Williamson, Miami Springs, Florida," and in 1967 obituary of brother Joseph as "Mrs. Gaye Dotson of Harrisville." Name listed in Social Security Death Index as Gaye Williamson, last residence in Harrisville. Name on grave marker reads "Emma Gay Williamson," with dates 1883-1977. There is also a marker for her as the wife of Lloyd S. Dotson at the Wilson Cemetery in Beason (Pennsboro), Ritchie County, that reads "E. Gay Dotson," with dates 1883-19__. In both cases, the 1883 birth year is at variance with the 1884 date listed in SSDI. Birth date is not given in obituary, but age 93 would put it in 1883.
