- After graduation from Harrisville High School and attendance at college, he taught in a one-room schoolhouse and drove a school bus. He was a life-long farmer doing business as David Law & Sons Polled Herefords, and he also owned and operated an independent insurance agency in Harrisville for 47 years. He was actively involved in fund raising for the American Cancer Society, as well as in 4-H Clubs and youth baseball organizations. [2]
