Identified as James B. Gribble, age 27, b. Preston Co, res Ritchie Co, son of William J. & Lydia; and Martha A. Watson, age 21, b. Barbour Co, res Ritchie Co, dau of John & Delilah. Married May 17 1866. The entry of Martha's parents is an apparent clerical error, as her parents are clearly stated by Minnie Kendall Lowther as being George Watson & Susan Divers, with Martha herself being identified as "the late Mrs. Martha (J. B.) Gribble, of Auburn."
