      "R. S. Gabbert of Lick Run and son Claude of Greenwood arrived here Saturday night from Washington, D. C., where they had been taking in the G.A.R. Encampment; both were highly pleased with their trip and the city of Washington, only regretting that they did not have longer to stay to see the wonderful sights of the city. R. S. Gabbert is one of the oldest members of the W. P. Green Post G.A.R. of this place and has taken in several National encampments."
