Harrison Co, res. Doddridge Co, son of William & Jane Vanort; and Margaret Wilson, 20, single, b. Marion Co, res. Doddridge Co, dau of B. & Martha Wilson. Married Dec 25 1855. (Note: Minnie Kendall Lowther identifies Margaret Wilson as "Mrs. Margaret Vanhorn," and their children all had the VanHorn name.)
