    • As grandchildren of Josiar Hart and Sarah Garrett, William "Billy" Hart and his second wife, Mary Catherine "Kate" Hart, were first cousins. They were divorced, probably before 1900, as she appeared in the 1900 Census as a head of household, with children Alvin, Mary, Charles and Herman. The Census indicated that she had given birth to ten children, six of whom were still living.
